German tuner ABT has recently released a modification package for the VW Transporter T5 facelift, with the package targeting the tech side and exterior of the vehicle. It all starts under the hood, where all the engines have received power upgrades.
The entry level diesel unit was bumped from 84 to 110 hp, the 101 hp version now delivers 130 hp, while the 140 hp 2.0-liter TDI now offers 170 hp instead of 140 hp. As for the 2.0-liter TSI turbocharged petrol four-cylinder unit, this has been convinced to deliver 240 hp instead of its stock output of 204 hp. To handle the extra power, the van has been gifted with a sports suspension, a set of 19-inch rims that use performance tires, which offer both a visual and a handling bonus.
The ABT Volkswagen Transporter comes with an aerodynamic package consisting of a front fascia add-on elements, a new front grille, side skirts, a rear bumper that incorporates quadruple tailpipes, as well as a rear spoiler.
