We don't doubt Ford's expertise in motorsports, and neither should you. But we're not here to analyze the Blue Oval's success in this area. Instead, we'd like to tell you more about a Ford Transit looking like it's ready to hit the tarmac in WRC stages around the world.
Okay, nobody wants their groceries or fragile parcels tossed from one corner of the car to another by a van driver who thinks he's Ken Block or some other rally driver hotshot. But at least admit it, the idea of a WRC-inspired van is too cool for school.

Others - like Mercedes-AMG, for example - have done it, but they never went beyond the April Fools prank level. However, M-Sport is all about the real deal, so their WRCizied Transit is a palpable vehicle, not to mention drivable.

Just so you know, this year Ford Transit turns 50. To celebrate that, Ford and M-Sport took a Transit van and gave it the appearance of the Ford Fiesta RS WRC car.

All you see on the car is generated by WRC know-how, starting with the body kit and finishing with the 18-in OZ rims dressed with Michelin tires. The suspension has been lowered courtesy of Eibach while the cabin received a remodeled steering wheel and a redesigned dashboard with M-Sport branded dials.

Oh, and there's a new exhaust system dominating the rear end, but we reckon you've spotted that already. Here's what Martin Wilson, M-Sport Managing Director, had to say about the finite product:

"This is a fantastic project which we are all extremely proud to be involved in. Combining Ford's driving dynamics and the Transit's versatility with Van Sport's ingenuity and style, this product compliments the M-Sport brand which is all about quality, performance, and flair."
