A touring KTM 1290 Super Duke R? Sounds a bit silly if trying to match this mental picture and the tech specs. However, KTM is offering a touring-worthy trim for their all-new 1290 Super Duke R beast, and this only means more happy riders.
Now, don't imagine Zega panniers on the Super Duke R: KTM is endowing the 1290 Super Duke R with sport-touring side bags, which means you have some storage on the bike, which is so much cooler than having none.
Each side bag brings 18 liters of waterproof storage with the included inner bargs and an almost invisible rack. Easy to mount and with a low profile, they offer just the right option for an overnight trip.
Other goodies in the Touring package include a radial RoadLock which stays permanently attached to the front brake caliper, a new Ergo Seat which matches the fresh look of the bike, high-performance dual-stage heated grips. Even more, KTM also shows a GPS mounting bracket for Garmin devices and a small windscreen to fend off the air.
