A Scrambled BMW R100/7 [Photo Gallery]
Most of the parts in this old BMW R100/7 are original: the frame, the carbs, the fork and tank are all BMW, and have received only minor modifications. Unlike in other cases, CRD decided they should keep the airbox, but loaded it with better K&N breathers, so that's why this build looks a bit more massive: the negative space under the seat is not that huge now.
The subframe however, had to be re-shaped to comply with the new design ideas and the in-house made CRD flat seat. The megaphone exhausts are as retro as they get, but we guess higher-mounted pipes would have added even more style.
The rear of the bike sits on Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 shocks, while the front end received Renthal Ultra Low bars with CRD grips, a CRD headlight and a diminutive Motogadget gauge. Add in Pirelli trial tires, stylish signal lights and retro engine guards, then apply a paint job combining sweet colors with bare metal and see a new, nice bike turning heads.
