When you see a super luxury speed tank packing 600 horsepower as it slides on a frozen lake, you know that this puppy is never going to be available in real life. You think “yeah, maybe on a Hollywood set, never in real life!” But what if we’d tell you that one of the world’s most sought after high-performance vehicles, initially designed for the military, eventually featured in none other than Mad Max: Fury Road, is now available for public purchase?
“Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, can I, can I mommy?” we can almost hear the petrolhead within going. The days when your biggest wishes (which were rather small during childhood) would be fulfilled by a pair of puppy eyes and a little bit of grumbling are gone, unfortunately. So if you’re not rightfully packed with green bills, you’d better stop reading. In fact, you should go on anyway, it might arouse your ambition.

Howe&Howe are two inventors and military contractors we’ve often written about. They have a way with them engines that simple tickles our interest. Their latest creation in years took 3,500 hours of work to build and is what you’d call a high-speed super tank built for the gods. The gods of torque, of course.

From 12 inches of suspension travel to its luxurious interior and over 600 diesel horsepower, The Ripsaw is truly a work of art. The EV2 in question is built on that precise platform, like most of the brothers’ off-road beasts. The big news here is that they just announced their far best creation yet will now be available to the public.

Sexy, but expensive

These vehicles take up to six months to fabricate and, according to its makers, can cost "well into the 100s of thousands" depending on desired luxury and performance packages. Oh, and they’re available in limited edition.

Whether or not we’d ever have the blessing to put our hands on one of these beauties it’s hard to tell. Until then, however, we’ll hit the replay button on the video below and keep daydreaming.
