9ff Reveals GT9 Vmax with 1,381 HP and 437 KM/H Top Speed

In the world of hypercars, your options are rather limited, yet more and more supercars which can break the 400 km/h barrier seem to be springing up every day. However, very few of these are actually what we’d call monstrously powerful, meaning cars with at least 1,000 - 1,100 hp in stock form.
Well, there’s now a new kid on the block, and it’s called the 9ff GT8 Vmax, and it was just unveiled at the Essen Motor Show. It is based on the underpinnings of a 911 GT3, yet its engine is now mounted in the middle, for better balance. It is a flat-six lump, bored out to 4.2 liters, and fitted with two turbos.

The result is a top speed of 437 km/h (272 mph), thanks to its extreme power output of 1,381 hp. It follows a long line of 911-based hypercars,, beginning with the 9ff GT9 which topped out at 404 km/h (253 mph), or the GT9-R, which was able to reach 411 km/h (257 mph), with 1,120 hp at its disposal.
