It's no secret that supercar drivers have plenty of fetishes and one of the most common involves racing motorcycles. Finding a track and a biker for a circuit battle takes plenty of energy, so the simples way is to go for a drag race, which is why this form of brawl is the most common. And we are now here to show you one hell of a battle of the sort, with this involving a highly tuned Nissan GT-R and a Kawasaki ZX-10R.
The Japanese toys got together in Russia, as part of a YouTube series that brings plenty of shenanigans of the sort.
The Kawasaki we have here comes in stock form, which means it is animated by a one-liter naturally aspirated four-pot delivering 210 hp thanks to a ram-air intake and the possibility to go all the way to 13,000 rpm.
We can't say the same the same about this Nissan GT-R, with the R35 now packing almost twice the factory output. To be more precise, the twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 motor of the supercar now allows the one behind the wheel to enjoy no less than 950 hp.
For reasons that escape us, the go-fast toys only battled using rolling starts. It's no secret that a standing start would've allowed the GT-R to make use of its furious launch, as the ATTESA E-TS all-paw hardware of the supercar is famous for its blast-like action.
We suppose not all of you have polished their Russian language skills. So while you can enjoy the entire video below, you can also skip to the 5:00 and 7:00 points of the clip to see the two velocity tools battling like there's no tomorrow.
P.S.: Since we mentioned a tuner Nissan GT-R, we'll remind you that a new dyno world record for the R35 has recently been set, with this sitting at about 3,500 hp.
