Not everybody can handle any task thrown at them. Let’s take the Toyota owner in this story, for instance. The man clearly needs to work on the way in which his car is promoted online. Some quality footage would help. However, he may have other assets for us. Stuff like a 927 HP Toyota Corolla.
On the other hand, we have to talk about us a little bit. We couldn’t find such an extreme JDM machine around the office, so we figured out we might just help Alan (that’s the owner’s name) with the promoting part.
We have to agree with you on one thing. This car isn’t conspicuous, at least not in the general acceptance of the notion. It doesn’t take a trained eye to spot the massive hole in this hatchback’s hole, especially with a turbo the size of Japan sticking out.
The exhaust cutout in the front fender doesn’t help too much either and neither do the hefty brakes. Nonetheless, nothing can prepare you for the 927 HP output figure of the four-cylinder engine lying under the hood.
The mill comes from a Toyota MR2 that had been prepped for drag racing, so it’s no wonder it plays the game at such an extreme level
Sure, it may not take a trained eye to spot the massive hole in this Corolla’s hood, but, given the output of this machine, you’re certainly not going to be prepared for it.
This is no machine to deserve the “ricer” tag though. In order to cope with all the power, the Corolla features a strengthened four-wheel drive system. In fact, you can see the tech bits underneath in the gallery below.
Come to think about it, the toughness of this build only seems natural when you think about the Irish roots of the project.
