650 hp VW Golf Daily Driver

The downsizing trend means that we won’t see a V6 engine dropped in a hot hatch anytime soon, so all we can do to enjoy such goodies is to look in the past. Ad in some explosive tech tuning and you’ve got a recipe for top thrills.

Let us give you an example: the vehicle you see in the adjacent images, which have arrived via luxury4play, seem to give us Golf R32,a car gifted with a V6 unit by the factory. However, the owner choose to bring the car to an insane power level, heavily modifying its tech side.

The Golf (Mk V) has now has an engine capcity of 3.6 liters isntead of the original 3.2 and has received a custom HPA twin turbo kit, as well as a long list of other goodies, which allow the driver to enjoy no less than 650 hp.

The car’s DSG double clutch gearbox has received carbon clutches and custom parts in order to handle all that power. This is a rare feat in the tuning world and we must admire it.

Since it has supercar power, the owner though that it must also have supercar stopping power, fitting the car with Lamborghini brakes. The vehicle rides on ADV5.1 one-piece 19-inch rims that come in a black finish, has flared wheel arches and a custom vented hood, but not too many visual tuning elements.

And there’s one more thing: this monster hatch is being used for daily driving.
