When it comes to technical problems, it seems that even the biggest companies encounter them and leaving all the shame aside, they must recall all of the problematic models.
This is the case of Aston Martin and 5,001 of the company’s vehicles as some throttle pedal problems have been discovered and as a result the vehicles have been taken off the market.

According to NHTSA, the problem is pretty serious and it appears that the guys from Aston Martin have encountered the exact pedal-arm weakness in models that have already been serviced. If the accelerator pedal arm breaks, the engine will return to idle and the driver will be unable to maintain or increase engine speed, increasing the risk of a crash," said NHTSA

So, it is pretty clear that are dealing with an important issue and they must do they very best to sort things out in order to maintain the company’s credibility.

Therefore, all those that own one of the affected models such as the 2009-2012 DBS, 2010-2012 Rapide, 2014 Rapide S, 2011-2012 V12 Vantage, the 2008-2014 DB9, 2011-2014 V8 Vantage S, 2012 Virage as well as the V8 Vantage will be receiving a notice sometime next week.
