4,000 HP Corvette Mixes Twin-Turbo Hemi Muscle and Small Tires

Earlier this month, we showed you a C7 Corvette that had been pushed to 3,500 hp, with the monster's extra power grabbing attention like a magnet. And by "extra power," we mean the output of a factory C7 Corvette Stingray, with the octane behemoth in question having been pushed to 4,000 ponies.
This is the kind of build whose muscle is only matched by its power to split opinions among aficionados, and it all has to do with the Hemi hiding under its custom hood.

We're dealing with a 548 crate motor that has been gifted with a pair of Precision 102mm turbos. The turbochargers sit right behind the front grille, but a keen eye can easily spot the danger lurking in the shadow. Then again, with its exhaust tips exiting the car in front of the doors, you don't need a trained eye to tell this is not your average 'Vette. Then there's the soundtrack of the thing, which is enough to make the entire drag strip shake, rattle and roll.

Competing in the Pro Mod class, this Chevrolet also packs goodies such as a three-speed transmission and a billet solid rear axle. Interestingly enough, this Chevy plays the small tire game, at least for now.

As we explained when introducing this speed behemoth, the panels that sit aft of the car's front section come from the standard vehicle.

Believe it or not, you can still remove the roof, with the only difference being that a massive rollcage will separate you from the open sky. Nevertheless, you'll also find carbon fiber elements here, such as the doors, so we're talking about one hell of an expensive toy.

Still, you can see the VIN at the base of the windshield, so perhaps the velocity police would like to give the driver a ticket for being too awesome.
