Nowadays, it's almost impossible for any piece of fresh metal to spend too much time on our desktops without being spotted out in the wild and the time has come for the 2017 Nissan GT-R to reach that point.
An example of the revamped Godzilla was recently spotted in the South of France, with the Nissan halo car obviously drawing attention like a magnet. Wearing German plates, the GT-R is dressed in a stunning shade of red that makes its boxy styling cues stand out even more. We have to thank Facebook user Gumbal for these pics.
For its latest refresh, Nissan gifted the GT-R with the one thing the supercar has always lacked (with the exception of a special edition or two), namely serious refinement.
Nevertheless, this isn't the kind of facelift that saw the carmaker giving the cabin a lavish approach and calling it a day. Instead, the advances on the tech front are also important.
We're dealing with a 20 hp bump, which means the R35 now delivers 565 HP. Part of the credit for this goes to the supercar's titanium exhaust. In the past, the part was an option only offered on the range-topping GT-R Nismo, but this is now standard.
With the next generation of the GT-R probably being two model years away, we're eagerly waiting to get our keyboards on the first spyshots, so we can bring them to you.

The 2017MY GT-R pricing isn't what it seems
The 2017MY GT-R has also continued the price tag increase trend. Back in 2008, the GT-R started at $69,850, while the machine now has a MSRP of $111,585. Those keeping a close eye on the yearly pricing increases will notice the 2017 model is $8,220 more expensive than before, but if we take into account the fact that the titanium exhaust mentioned above cost $12,900 in optional form, the increase doesn't seem like an issue anymore. With the next generation of the GT-R probably being two model years away, we're eagerly waiting to get our keyboards on the first spyshots, so we can bring them to you.
