Since the Blue Oval enjoys keeping us on our toes with a relentless teasing program for the 2017 Ford GT, digital artists have learned form the carmaker and are now adding fuel to this go-fast fire.
Case in point with the rendering above, which brings us a stunning view of the performance machine. Sunny take and splendid 3D modeling aside, the image sees the GT getting a pair of HRE wheels.

We're dealing with a multi-spoke approach that seems to suit the aero-obsessed styling cues of the velocity beast rather well. As for the concave profile of the rims, this ensues the whole story follows the current trends of the custom wheel universe.

Given the classic Silver finish of the rolling goodies, this is an approach that doesn't take things too far in the name of personalization, which is why we applaud the digital artist behind the rendering - we're talking about Jack Darton, a man who has a fetish for the GT.

With Ford only set to deliver 250 units of the new-age GT per year and future owners having been selected through an overly rigorous process, you might expect all the examples of the car to remain stock.

Well, if we take into account the frenzy that has taken over the supercar and hypercar world nowadays, such a prediction simply can't be accurate. Sure, we don't expect future owners to go anywhere near mods that would void the warranty.

Then again, when it comes to easily reversible stunts, such as wraps, wheels and even exhaust systems, things will probably go down the customization route. And we'll return with examples as soon as we get out keyboards on them.

Meanwhile, we'll remind you of how Ford keeps us connected to its halo car by showing us what happens when the octane behemoth hits the wind tunnel.
