Lexus are trying to make sure their model lineup stays fresh for the 2016MY. Therefore, a shy wind of change started blowing over the Japanese brand's lineup.
The 2016 Lexus GX 460 along with the 2016 CT 200h compact were the first to benefit from the breath of fresh air, although changes are minor to say at most.

For the 2016MY, the GX 460 will add a plus on the tech side thanks to the Lexus Enform Service Connect and Lexus Enform Remote. Also, the SUV will receive a new Sepia NuLuxe trim.

The same features are available for the 2016 Lexus CT 200h, along with a grille with chrome surround and a moonroof, the latter available only as optional equipment.

There's no word on pricing yet, although we're sure Lexus will make this info available in the following weeks.

Lexus Enform Remote

Lexus Enform Remote (subscription required), allows the owner to remotely view and control certain vehicle features using a mobile app for iOS and Android devices.

In other words, you'll be able to remotely lock and unlock the car's doors, stop/start the engine and climate control and use the vehicle finder feature from your smartphone.

Moreover, through the Lexus Enform Remote Connect function, customers can receive notifications on maintenance alerts, warning light notifications and a vehicle health report that includes email and push notifications for diagnostic information, required maintenance reminders, current vehicle alerts and service campaigns.
