We were right, earlier spottings of that beefed up Lexus GS were indeed telling the story of an upcoming F version. This got confirmed by our spy photographers who just caught this large-mouthed beast.
These photos appear to come from Germany where what it looks to be the Lexus GS F with some camouflage wrappings here and there roams around the streets unhindered.

While the earlier spottings, which by the way happened in the US too, were showing basically a GS F Sport with different wheels and quad exhaust tips, the model here appears to have been passed the mule phase, wearing some distinct F features.

Bolt on parts

To start with, the front end now looks almost like the one on the RC F coupe, minus the three-piece jewel LED headlamps of course. It has the same angled grille and same side intakes that scream performance and bring cool air to the front disc brakes.

Moving to the side, you’ll be able to spot side vents right after the front wheels while at the back you get the well-known oblique double-barrel exhaust tips and a restyled bumper with an integrated air diffuser.

The same BBS-style multispoke rims finished in matte grey are found on this car too, suggesting that the model will probably come on the production version.

The new Lexus GS F is expected to enter the market as a 2016 model next year and should be powered by the same 5-liter V8 engine that now equips the RC F. However, the GS F is pitted against the BMW M5, Audi RS6, Jaguar XFR-S and Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, so the pony number needs to be increased from the current 470 hp to around 500-550 hp.
