Toyota dropped the 4-liter vee six because it ranked bottom in the segment in terms of ponies, torque, fuel economy and even towing capacity. That's why the 4.6-liter i-Force V8 will be offered as standard from now own, boasting 310 hp at 5,600 revs and 327 pound-feet of torque available from 3,400 rpm.

But the recently introduced 2015 Toyota Tundra Bass Pro Shops Off-Road Edition isn't equipped with the base 4.6, but the range-topping 5.7L V8. This powerplant sends 381 horsepower and 401 pound-feet to all four wheels via a six-speed auto because this special edition 2015 Toyota Tundra is based on the 4x4 CrewMax SR5 configuration.

With the capability to handle a tough trail or provide a comfortable ride, the Bass Pro Shops Off-Road Edition is equipped for outdoor adventures, notably fishing if you take its name literally. Offered in silver and only in silver, the special edition Tundra aims to provide sufficient space for outdoor bits and bobs as well as plenty of comfort for family and friends.

So what differentiates this special edition from other Tundra variants?

If you need to tow a boat or something similar, you'll be happy to find out the vehicle also includes a tow package. Some notable highlights specified to this Tundra variant include 20-inch black wheels, Bass Pro Shops Off-Road bed decals and carpeted floor mats, pocketed fender flares and a stainless steel exhaust system. What about the starting price?
