Confirmed for the 2014 Detroit Auto Show last week, the 2015 Subaru WRX STI has been revealed ahead of time in a batch of allegedly leaked official photos.
Sporting an aerodynamic body kit similar to the regular WRX we’ve seen last year, the STI version features a slightly different front grille and a huge rear wing. As expected, Subaru has chosen a blue exterior with golden wheels combo for the vehicle’s official shootout.
Powertrain details are still unknown, but word has it the 2015 WRX STI will be powered by a turbocharged 2.5-liter engine updated to deliver about 300 horsepower (the WRX is powered by a 2.0-liter unit rated at 268 HP).
