The 2015 Ford Mustang still has some time before it’s on sale in dealerships, but you can bet that all of the aftermarket companies are well into the development of specially tuned versions of the car. As proof, look no further than the 2015 Saleen 302 Mustang.
Saleen released its first official image of the all-new Saleen 302 Mustang, and while the head-on shot doesn’t reveal much about the car, it definitely gives us plenty to look forward to. We can see plenty of familiar Saleen cues in the face of this 302 Mustang including the blacked-out grille, massive hood scoop and the unique fins in the lower fascia.

In this image, these horizontal cues make the Mustang appear visually wider and more squatted to the ground. It will be interesting to see how this styling intensifies the already aggressive appearance of the 2015 ‘Stang.

As little as this single image shows off the styling details of the 2015 Saleen 302 Mustang, it offers up even less as to what lies under the hood other than the fact that it’s a 5.0-liter V-8 (302 cubic inches, hence the car’s name). In its current form, the 2014 Saleen 302 Mustang is offered in two flavors: the naturally aspirated V-8 putting out 440 hp and the supercharged V-8 producing 625 hp.

We would expect prices to stay about the same for the 2015 302 Mustang, which range from $39,095 up to $54,386 (not including the donor car). There is no word as to when we’ll see the production version of the 2015 Saleen 302 Mustang, but our best guess is either this year’s SEMA Show in November or next year’s Detroit Auto Show.
