Comparing tuned SUVs to bodybuilders is our new hobby. That's why this Porsche Cayenne that has been customized by the Russians at TopCar caught our attention. The "2015 Vantage is still midway through its development, but we kind of get where they are going with this one.
The 2015 Cayenne is a mid-life facelift for one of the most popular SUVs for the rich and famous. It has the same crisp design that we liked about the 918 Spyder hypercar and TopCar was only too glad to improve on that.
After creating official digital renderings a few months ago the guys got hold of an actual production model, among the first 2015 Cayennes in the county. They sent it to their clay modeling shop where the new body panels were constructed and later scanned by a computer.
Most of the changes are at the front, where the radical new bumper adds aggression and presence. It also discretely widens the car and works with Porsche's language. Following that TopCar added side skirts and door sill inserts, as well as a rear diffuser. Two sets of wings are also included with the package.
There's an opening right before the hood, just like on the 911 GT3, while vents added on top help with the engine breathing. On the wheels and tires front, we notice the work of partner brand ADV.1 Wheels, who have gifted the Topcar Cayenne with a set of their six-spoke alloys.
Work is currently underway on a brand new interior finish for the Stuttgart prancing horse. We can't wait to see what the Russians come up with, especially when you consider that they are masters with crocodile and snake hides.
