If you've visited a Nissan dealership lately, you probably noticed the all-new Rogue CUV. It's a handsome-looking machine available with a 7-seat option that's designed to appeal to a modern American family.
The Rogue was all-new for the 2014 model year and now the Japanese company has switched over to the 2015 model year, announcing new pricing information. The Base Rogue S model with front-wheel drive now starts at $22,790 plus destination. While it's a decent price, the sticker has jumped $300 from the $22,490 demanded last year. Both SV and SL models have made similar incremental increases.

Nissan continues to focus on the bulk of this segment, only offering one transmission and engine, bundling options together to reduce cost and the number of trim levels. The familiar 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 170 horsepower and an Xtronic CVT are under the bonnet, AWD being an optional feature on all three trim levels.

Enhancements for 2015 include an Eco mode added to the powertrain package, heated cloth seats added to the SV Premium Package and a new color called Artic Blue Metalic that replaces Graphite Blue.

Nissan says its fuel economy is best-in-class at 33mpg highway for the FWD models and 26 mpg in the city. The 2015 Rogue offers a reversing camera as standard and is one safe family ride, thanks to a suite of features that include Active Trace Control, Active Engine Braking and Active Ride Control.

The 2015 model will be available in dealerships come September 2014, with more pricing details available in the attached press release below. Nissan has also announced that the cheaper previous generation Rogue will continue to be availed though the 2015 model year as the "Rogue Select" (available in January 2015).
