Unveiled last month with a new face and without a V8 engine, the 2015 Lincoln Navigator made its public debut at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show last week, where the manufacturer displayed two examples of the SUV that will rival the brand new Cadillac Escalade.
Powered by Ford’s 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, which will deliver about 370 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque through a six-speed automatic transmission, the 2015 Navigator will go on sale with an optional Control Trac Four-Wheel-Drive system and an updated MyLincoln Touch.
Standard features will include leather and wood steering wheel and push-button start, while a Reserve Package will add ultra-luxurious leather, a leather-wrapped dashboard, Ziricote wood trim and 22-inch polished wheels.
Production of the 2015 Navigator is scheduled to begin late this summer at the Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville, with the first examples to arrive in showrooms in early fall.
