Lexus USA will soon take orders for the all-new RC coupe. Until then, you can play a bit with the mini configurator that went online on the automaker’s official webpage.
Surprising or not, you’ll find out that the RC is coming both in rear- and all-wheel-drive versions. Consider the fact that you can apply the F Sport pack and you get four different flavors already.

All versions are powered by the same 3.5-liter V6 engine that cranks out 306 hp at 6,400 rpm mated to an eight-speed gearbox. In this setup, the RC goes from 0 to 60 in 5.8 seconds, on its way to 143 mph and averaging 22 mpg.

The all-wheel-drive version is a bit slower on the acceleration front, reaching the same speed in 6 seconds and also averaging 1 mpg less than the aforementioned model.

Ticking the box for an F Sport model won’t add more power, but it will change the suspension setup a bit, while also adding some unique features, like the fully-meshed wide mouth spindle grille, multispoke machine finished rims, that sick Mark Levinson sound system and more.

For the standard RC you can get one of the six available colors (Starfire Pearl, Nebula Gray Pearl, Silver Lining Metallic, Atomic Silver, Obsidian and Infrared), four interior color combinations and two rim styles.

For the F Sport, you two more exterior finishes (Molten Pearl and Ultrasonic Blue Mica), the extra Rioja Red NuLuxe interior trimming and those awesome 19-inch split-10-spoke alloy wheels.

Prices are not available now, but do stick around for them as we’ll post them as soon as Lexus posts them. Until then, you can check our review on the RC and RC F here.
