2015 Honda Fit Gets Widebody Kit and Custom LED Lights

Unlike most of its European rivals, the Honda Fit (Jazz) doesn't have a sporty side to its personality. There are no GTI or ST versions, no powerful turbocharged engines and locking differentials. That's why the Japanese subcompact has a chip on its shoulder and it arrived at this year's Tokyo Auto Salon wanting to prove something.

And it did just that with the help of some army green paint, a widebody kit built to special order and some amazing new LED headlights and taillights.

If this project car seems a bit familiar, that's because it was actually first seen at the SEMA Show last year. The Tjin Edition 2015 Honda Fit features custom Axalta paint job, 18-inch iForged wheels wrapped with Falken tires, AirREX air suspension and Bisimoto accessories.

Inside, it also comes with a Katzkin interior and a Sony stereo system. Webasto is responsible for the sunroof and there are basketball goods from SoCl Elite 94Fifty. The only thing that's changed since SEMA is that Coplus has also created a front lip and LED taillights for the car, which you can check out in the gallery below.

The wide-body kit is definitely an awe-inspiring look for anybody who owns the new Fit. It's dramatic and bold, like a rally car, bringing out the five-door hatchback’s hidden sportiness. As for the LED light, well they give it a sort of NSX-like character.
