The Dyna Street Bob is one of the classic images which come to people’s lives when they hear the name Harley-Davidson. Here’s the new model year bike Milwaukee prepared for the 2015 season. There aren’t too many completely new things about the 2015 Street Bob, save for the two new custom paint options which are available.
If less conspicuous colors are your thing, you can get your 2015 Harley-Davidson Dyna Street Bob in Black Denim or Vivid Black, with the Charcoal Pearl of the 2014 bikes replaced by Amber Whiskey. Last year’s Voodoo Purple Flake has been replaced by Superior Blue and Hardcandy Quicksilver Flake Deluxe trims.

As far as the engine goes, the 2015 Harley-Davidson Dyna Street Bob can be ordered in two flavors. The Standard version is equipped with the Twin Cam 96 1,585cc v-twin, but customers can order the Street Bob with a Twin Cam 103 power unit and 1,690cc displacement. The 96 engine used in the previous year model used to produce a max torque of 124Nm (91.4 lb-ft) at 3,250 revs, while the current 103 mill is good for 130Nm (95.8 lb-ft) at 3,000 rpm.

The 2015 Street Bob weighs a hefty 304 kg (671lbs), almost the same as the previous year’s bike. This is also consistent with the lack of changes in other departments, such as the transmission, which was kept intact, a Six Speed Cruise Drive with the ratios unchanged from the 2014 model.

Even the wheels have remained the black laced ones we saw last year, so it’s pretty clear that Harley is not that keen to change a recipe which seems to work. Blakced out engine, covers, console, chrome mini apehangers and the same clean, tidy rear section with stop-turn-tail lights, they’re all telling an old, yet successful story. The base price is yet to be revealed.
