This is it boys and girls, the 2015 Ford Mustang is finally out in the open for everyone to see! As expected, the first photos of the highy anticipated pony car leaked ahead of its official debut on December 5.
The photos you're about to see below surfaced the Internet via the SVT Performance forums, thanks to a user that snapped a few shots of Autoweek's December 9 issue, which, to no surprise, features the all-new 2015 Mustang.
Previewed by a series of accurate renderings from Mustang6G's "chazcron" and Car&Driver, the 2015 Mustang retains most of the styling elements of the fifth-generation musclecar, but also features Ford's new design language, which was introduced across its entire automobile lineup the past few years.
While we're still waiting for the official details, the Mustang6G forum claims the magazine says the sixth-gen pony is 200 pounds (90 kg) lighter that the model it replaces and features aluminum front fenders, selective drive modes and standard keyless start. Also, the GT version will be offered with 15-inch rotors.
Stick around for more details and the first official photos of the 2015 Mustang. The next 48 hours should reveal almost everything we need to know.
