Now, thanks to our friends over at Mustangs Daily, who went to the Chicago Auto Show and caught an EcoBoost Mustang with its hood wide open, we’re able to provide you with the best view of the new 2.3-liter unit yet.
Ford has yet to announce official performance figures for the 2.3-liter EcoBoost Mustang, but estimated claim it will deliver around 305 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque, more than the 3.7-liter V6.
As Mustang chief engineer Dave Pericak told us at the Detroit Auto Show last month, The base version of the EcoBoost will be electronically-limited to 121 miles per hour, while the one fitted with the Track Pack will do 145 miles per hour.
