We’ve got fresh pictures of the new, revised 2015 Ducati Diavel straight form the ground floors of the Geneva motor show. Even more, we’ve also got a full tech specs sheet for gearheads to enjoy.
As we already reported in the Diavel official press photos piece published earlier today, the new bike is loaded with the Dual Spark (DS) version of the Desmodromic L-Twin engine which can be found in the new Monster 1200 machines. This 1198cc Testastretta 11° mill is liquid-cooled and has 106mm bore and 67.9mm stroke, with a 12.5:1 compression.

The Mitsubishi EFI system is complemented by dual Mikuni elliptical throttle bodies. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel by means of straight cut gears, and a chain linking the 15-tooth front sprocket and the 43-tooth rear one. The hydraulic clutch is obviously a slipper one, eliminating rear wheel hopping during strong engine braking. At the same time it acts as a self-servo system when accelerating, ensuring better energy transmission in all conditions.

Ducati Diavel retains the steel tubular trellis frame and comes with an 1,590mm (62.6”) wheelbase. The Carbon version is also equipped with forged and machined 9-spoke Marchesini wheels, while the standard ones have 14-spoked light allow ones. All trims come with Marzocchi forks and progressive linkage Sachs rear suspensions.

4-pot monblock Bremobo calipers squeeze the dual 320mm rotors, with 2-piston floating calipers and a 265mm disc in the rear, both with ABS. The hybrid dash instrumentation has both LCD and TFT panels, with Ducati Traction Control (DCT), Hands-free and Riding Modes available in the electronics department. 2015 Ducati Diavel comes with a 2 years, unlimited mileage warranty. Enjoy the exclusive pics and tech sheet after the jump.
