2015 Chrysler 200 / Lancia Flavia Prototype on Film [Video]
This entry-level luxury model of the Chrysler range is getting old, still being based on the Sebring that came before it. A replacement is desperately needed, since this car faces stiff opposition from above and below, Ford to Mazda, Honda to Toyota.
The second generation 200 will arrive some time next year as a 2015 model. It will most likely be based on the CUSW platform, shared with everything from the US-bound Alfa Romeo Giulietta to the Jeep Cherokee.
More importantly perhaps is the fact that it will usher in a brand new chapter in Chrysler design. This prototype is covered by heavy camouflage, but we can still make out a planted look, featuring a small upper grille and prominent bumper.
Everything has to be a four-door coupe these days, so it's not surprising they made a very curbed greenhouse, basically half the height of the door.
The guys at The Fast Lane Car filmed this prototype vehicle in exactly the same spot as the Jeep/Fiat crossover we just showed you.
