Chrysler partnered up with Dallas-based advertising agency The Richards Group to make the "Born Makers" advertising campaign for the automaker's all-new 200 mid-size sedan. Slated to debut in the United States this Saturday, June 7th, two commercials will be transmitted across national broadcast and cable television.
Specifically, the "Born Makers" campaign suggests that the Chrysler 200 is "a well-made sedan" that  "doesn't have to cross an ocean to be worthy of the American road." Further more, Hispanic audiences get their very own commercial titled "Somos Creadores", that features artists, designers and craftsmen "who invoke the spirit and optimism of Latin-American culture."

The "Born Makers" commercial includes footage of the Sterling Heights Assembly Plant in Michigan and its employees, and ends with the "America's Import" tagline. TV spots aside, the Detroit automaker will display the all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 on the front of the Auburn Hills headquarters building until the end of June.

Dubbed as "the new face of Chrysler", the 200 mid-size sedan is a make-or-break bet for the carmaker that still struggles to resurrect its former glory. Fortunately, more than 17,000 orders for the model were placed in the first two days vehicle orders were made available to dealerships nationwide.

Excluding destination charges, the entry-level 2015 Chrysler 200 LX holds a suggested retail price of $21,700. For that kind of money, you get a very long list of standard equipment and a segment-first nine-speed automatic gearbox developed by ZF. This front-wheel drive model is propelled by a 2.4-liter MultiAir Tigershark with 184 horsepower and 173 lb-ft of torque on tap.

More demanding customers can opt for the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 mill with 295 horsepower and 262 lb-ft at its disposal. Chrysler offers this engine option along with an intelligent four-wheel drive system.
