2015 Chevrolet Trax Wallpapers: When Utility Meets Lifestyle

When it comes to city-smart crossover SUVs, the 2015 Chevrolet Trax is a machine you should consider before buying something else in the segment. Some people may not like its exterior styling, preferring the Buick Encore or Opel Mokka-labelled models more, while Australia gets the badge-engineered Holden Trax.

We recently reviewed the 2015 Chevrolet Trax in two guises: LT AWD and LTZ. Though many are tempted to say that only the exterior color makes a difference between those two, you know what they say: beauty is only skin deep, but ugly goes clean to the bone. On this occasion I won’t talk you through handling and all those things you can find out from our review, but visual-wise, you should give the Trax a chance.

In terms of packaging, the golden bowtie is no stranger to the small SUV segment. All in all, it was Chevy that virtually invented the segment with the Chevrolet Suburban Carryall in 1935. Compared to that old bucket of bolts, the Trax drops curvatures in favor of hard, muscly body lines and a square-ish yet able-bodied silhouette.

Just like Jim Morrison says in The Doors’ The Changeling, “I live uptown, I live downtown, I live all around,” also applies to the 2015 Chevrolet Trax’s persona. Those eye-catching wheel flares, joined by a pair of swept-back headlights and the dual-port grille render this lifestyle-oriented small SUV into a quirky four-wheeled attention grabber.

Regarding the lifestyle bit of the 2015 Chevrolet Trax’s character, the high-riding crossover is able to accommodate a surf board if you fold the rear seats and front passenger seat flat into the floor. That’s a nice touch when the mood takes you to go surfing in Malibu early on a Saturday morning.

Yes, there are some odd-looking and not-so-neat plastics here and there, but overall, the cabin can be classified as both stylish and functional. Don’t mind the 15 storage spaces inside the cabin. The 7-inch Chevrolet MyLink touchscreen infotainment system along with a rearview parking camera come as standard, which is pretty impressive value for money for a car of this type priced from $20,120.

Other than these 6 selected wallpapers, our 2015 Chevrolet Trax test-drive features a photo gallery with 32 other hi-res photos that may be worthy of becoming wallpapers for your PC, Mac or smartphone.
