We have fresh details about the new Alfa Romeo, which apparently be called the Duetto, not the Spider, according to Car & Driver. There’s credibility to this rumor, as the concept we’re showing you is called the 2uettottanta.

Power will come from a 1.8-liter turbocharged engine which in this application will produce around 250 horsepower. Transmission options will include a six-speed manual and a seven-speed DCT.

But these are still early times for the Spider, as the deal with the Japanese automaker has just been signed. However, we can be confident that the new drop-top will be very light, as this has been on both Alfa and Mazda’s agenda for quite some time.
