2014 WSBK: Erik Buell Racing World Superbike Team Confirmed

While Geoff May first mentioned that he could be riding for EBR in the World Superbike in 2014, the other name in the team has been announced. May's team mate will be Aaron Yates, and both will be riding WSBK-spec ERB 1190RX machinery.

This means that EBR is actually doing well in meeting the requirements for a WSBK entry, especially those related to the numer of produced motorcycles.

It is unclear yet whether EBR will continue their AMA Pro Road Racing operations, or all the efforts will be directed to the World Superbike series. However, racing around the world seems a much better sales upgrade prospect for EBR and this could help the company build up even more momentum for the bikes yet to come.
