To be honest, the Golf Plus isn't exactly our favorite car to look at, but it still a very nice car to own. Compared to a regular Golf you have a lot more space to relax, and compared to a Variant, it's shorter and better to look at.
We really don't know if they're going to make another Golf Plus, since prototypes haven't even been spotted yet. But if they do, it's probably going to look something like this. Since Citroen has recently revealed the C4 Picasso, and Renault has the refreshed Scenic, there's no shortage of competitors, but VW luxury is something that can't be replaced with lemon-sucking design and a bunch of cubby holders.
The new Golf Plus should be based on the same MQB platform and use newer generation engines, ranging from the base 1.2-liter TSI with 85 hp to a very decent 2.0-liter TDI with 150 hp.
Last year, Volkswagen launched a new version of the Golf Plus MPV, called LIFE, which will have to do until they offer this new model.
