The upgraded 2014 Toyota Land Cruiser will go on sale in the United Kingdom with a starting price set at £34,995 OTR, the Japanese automaker announced today.
To be launched on December 1, the 2014 Land Cruiser will greet its customers with a refreshed exterior design, a restyled interior and an array of new convenience and advanced off-road technologies. The SUV will feature Toyota’s Touch 2 multimedia for the very first time, which includes an improved screen resolution by a fator of four, smartphone style “drag and swipe” technology, and Tom Tom Real Time Traffic alerts.
Available in three trim levels - Active, Icon and Invincible - the 2014 Land Cruiser can be ordered two option packs. The Safety Pack, which adds adaptive cruise control with pre-crash costs £1,360, while the Off-road Pack comes with off-road driver assistance (standard on the Invincible model) at £1,650. The Two-tone leather option can be added at no-cost on the Icon and Invincible grades.
The entire Land Cruiser range is powered by the 3.0-liter D-4D diesel engine that delivers 190 HP and 410 Nm of torque and enables the vehicle to reach a top speed of 109 mph (175 km/h).
