The 2014 V-Strom 1000 is one of the most important bikes in Suzuki's line-up for the next year and after showcasing the specs and new features of the bike, interest raised dramatically. The big Strom has already started shipping to dealerships around the world and we're got "Stromy" news from Canada.
The standard version of the 2014 Suzuki V-Strom 1000 will be $11,999 (€8,798) and it includes the fancy new suspensions and traction control. The SE version brings in panniers, hand guards, a center stand and will retail for some extra $1,000 (€733), which is very decent. There could be some more options for the off-road game, possibly an "Adventure" package, rumor has it.
The price of the 200cc-class version of the Burgman scooters was also announced for Canada and is a bit high, I might say. $4,999 (€3,665) for such a machine is a but steep, but I'm pretty sure it will sell.
Finally, it looks like Suzuki will only build 100 units of their sweet GSX-R1000 Special Edition out of which only 5 will be sent to Canada. With 100 such bikes for the whole world, they'll sell like hot cakes to lucky guys who know which dealership in their area will get one.
