2014 is definitely going to be the year all cruiser headlights go oval, and the new MY Star Roadliner S is no exception. Just like it bigger brothers Stratoliner Deluxe and Stratoliner S, the 2014 Star Roadliner S comes with a slightly oval-shaped headlight which looks really good.
The 2014 Star Roadliner S is a no-nonsense 113cui (1854cc) EFI v-twin with a distinctive flowing and streamlined attire evoking the classic looks, but making a serious modern style statement. With a long and low aluminium frame, the rigidity is accompanied by exceptional handling, furthermore helped by the massive torque of the 5-speed gearbox.
Star promises quite a run for the money with 9.48:1 compression and aggressive cam timing, and claims the 2014 Roadliner S is no lazy slacker. Loaded with twin-bore FI and monitoring multiple parameters, the 2014 Star Roadliner S offers precise fuel delivery while the Exhaust Ultimate Power valve in the 2-into-1 beefy exhaust adds to the torque figures.
Just like in other big bikes, 46mm forks are mated to a hidden rear shock, as the 2014 Star Roadliner S rolls on sweet 12-spoke rims, shod with an 130mm tire in the front and an 190mm one in the rear. Weighing in at 700 lbs (339 kg), the 2014 Star Roadliner S looks like a nimble highway machine we'd also enjoy in the countryside.
A plethora of accessories are available for the 2014 Roadliner S, and the base price announced for August 2013 is quite nice: $14,990 (€11,235).
