The Iron 883 is all about a custom bike style and a custom bike feel, neatly mashed into a package which brings the iconic Sportster looks and the traditional bike-making excellence so many riders are sold for.

The 2014 Harley-Davidson Sportster Iron 883 is powered by the same injected Evolution v-twin like the rest of the "small" Sporties. Mated to a 5-speed transmission, it can be tamed or savage, as the rider commands: a great machine for a new rider, the new Iron will also be a thrilling ride for more seasoned motorcyclists.

Proudly displaying a custom bobber attire, the 2014 Harley-Davidson Sportster Iron 883 comes with chopped fenders and the legendary peanut tank making the bike both classic and classy. However, the revised braking system now includes larger rotors and optional ABS for those who feel more secure with it.

The hand controls were also revised for improved ergonomics. The dark attire of the machine was beautifully matched to the 4 color options: it was rather hard for us to believe that the blackened frame, rims and engine could be such a great match for the Amber Whiskey, Black Denim, Sand Camo Denim or the Hard Candy Voodoo Purple Flake. It turns out that Harley is mastering the color-matching art very well and the result is wonderful. We'll be back with the price and more pics.
