Jaguar is poised to show us a new F-Type Coupe, but we don't need to wait for the official word to know what that will be like. Roof or no roof, the F-Type is an awesome car, a playful cat that has loads more character than its rivals.
If you have $81,000 to spend on a car, you could do a lot less than the 3.0-liter, 380 hp supercharged F-Type S that we tested. But if you're lucky enough to have $92,000, the V8 S that Consumer Reports got a hold of is your cat.
This isn't even a review, more like a 3-minute collection of hyperbola used to describe the engine… oh the engine. Just like the Range Rover, the touch controls aren't as intuitive and the screens take a while to lad. Don't expect to be able to pack a full week's luggage either, since The F-Type has a small boot and no room behind the seats.
But we already knew all that, and the fact that the F-Type is a car you simply want to have, no matter the compromise. We just like the soundtrack for the video.
