Honda announces that their 2014 CRF125F machine, freshly updated with bigger wheels, will be available from September, 2013.
The 2014 Honda CRF125F Big Wheel carries on the heritage and proven reliability of the CRF family, but now offers bigger wheels and a taller seat, providing a step up for the young riders, just before they're ready to hop aboard the much more serious quarter-liter machines.
The 125cc SOHC air-cooled engine is mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox, providing plenty of power deployment options for various riding surfaces. The sturdy steel frame rolls on a Pro-Link rear suspension and 31mm telescopic forks, with a 220mm front disc brake and a drum rear one. The new wheels are 19" and 16" for the front and rear, respectively.
The bodywork and tank are made from tough plastic which can really take a beating, while the keyed ignition adds to the safety side, allowing adults decide who rides the 2014 Honda CRF125F Big Wheel and when. A kick system backs the electric start for even more convenience, and Honda has equipped the CRF125F with a maintenance-free battery. The 2014 Honda CRF125F Big Wheel starts at $3,199 (€2,435).
