Seating comfort is one of the premium features of a bike, but when we’re talking all-rounder, adventure-touring machines created for accommodating the rider for 10 hours or more a day, things get much more serious. Corbin expands its line of products for non-cruiser bikes with the new Honda CB500X Canyon Dual Sport saddle, for taking the blend of form and function even further.
The new saddle is made from Corbin’s proven Comfortcell foam which provides a personalized fit after a 1,500-mile (2400 km) break in. The seat improves the riding position by neutralizing the curb which favors the sliding forward move, providing enhanced support from the sides and detensioning the central area.

This in turn creates a better lumbar support for the rider, helping reduce fatigue. 6.5” (16.5 cm) may not seem much to some, but after 10 hours spend on the bike you’ll start to appreciate every feature of this aftermarket product. The pillion platform is raised and also counteracts the forward slide tendency.

Corbin uses genuine leather to cover the seats, and this provides breathability and a break in process which goes along with the foam’s reshaping, for a consistent look. Leather and carbon fiber finishes are available
Pillion backrests are available optionally, in case you want to offer your passenger extra safety and peace of mind. You can even fit a Glovebox backrest on the Honda CB500X, but the bike looks simply ridiculous. Still, you have the option…

The base pan of saddle is a perfect replica of the OEM one, so it will be extremely easy to install, using the front tongue and the Honda key lock. The Corbin Honda CB500X Canyon Dual Sport saddle is available for $439 (€317).
