Japanese automaker Honda has revealed the slightly updated 2014 Accord lineup. Set to become available for order starting Thursday, the sedan and coupe versions will start at $21,995 and $23,262 respectively in the United States.
Both the sedan and coupe can be had with either a 2.4-liter four-cylinder or a more powerful V6 engine. The first unit can be paired with either a six-speed manual or a CVT, while the V6 is offered with a six-speed automatic on the sedan and both the six-speed auto and the manual on the coupe.
What’s new on the 2014 Accord you may ask? Well, Honda says the interior provides “a level of luxury and craftsmanship never before seen in the Accord”, which only means the addition of a more premium cloth seat fabric on the LX sedan and a softer headrest material on models equipped with leather seats.
A smarter auto-dimming rear-view mirror that doesn't require an on/off switch was also fitted on the 2014 model, which is available in eight model choices as a sedan (LX, Sport, EX, EX-L, EX-L V6 and Touring), four model choices as a coupe (LX-S, EX, EX-L and EX-L V6), plug-in hybrid sedan and hybrid sedan.
