The 2014 Detroit Auto Show, next year's inaugural major automotive event, will see the introduction of 50 world debuts, ranging from production to concept and even race cars, NAIAS organizers have announced today.
The full list of vehicles that will bow in Detroit next month has yet to be revealed, but we already know some of the cars that will lose their wraps for the very first time. GM will debut the Cadillac ATS Coupe, the Corvette Z06 and the Corvette C7.R, Chrysler will be showing the 200 sedan.

Moving over to European brands, visitors see premieres of the BMW M3, BMW M4, Mercedes-Benz C-Class and S-Class Coupe and the Volvo Concept XC Coupe. Lexus is set to introduce the highly anticipated RC F and the LF/NX. The Hyundai Genesis and the Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge are also confirmed for Detroit.

"It's what we've been working toward since last January. The manufacturers continue to show their confidence in the NAIAS, and will once again bring their absolute best to Detroit's world stage. The show is going to rock. We're at the top of our game. That means introductions of an expected 50 worldwide concept and production vehicles that will be seen for the very first time right here in Detroit," said Bob Shuman, chairman of NAIAS 2014.

The 2014 North American International Auto Show begins on January 13 with press preview days, with public access to commence on January 15.
