When equipped with Chevy's performance exhaust, the 2014 Corvette Stingray delivers 460 hp, 5 hp more than the regular version. If that's not enough for you, maybe you'd like to get in touch with Lingenfelter, who are offering two hp-improving packages for the sportscar.
The first one will put a 417 cubic inch mill in the engine bay, while a Magnuson TVS2300 supercharger will be added on top for a new output of 750 horsepower. The second package drops the supercharger in favor of a twin-turbo LT1, which takes power figures way up to 1,000.
Besides the custom LT1 aluminum block, the Lingenfelter Corvette also features JE forged aluminum pistons, Callies forged steel crankshaft, CNC ported cylinder heads and many more. The package also includes removal and disassembly of the stock 6.2-liter V8 and requires the removal of the Active Fuel Management and variable cam timing system.
The supercharger upgrade comes with a three year/36,000-mile warranty, while the twin-turbo gets a one year/12,000-mile warranty. Both packages will get a Lingenfelter certificate of authenticity. For more details you can visit Lingenfelter Performance Engineering.
