2014 Corvette Stingray Commercial: Enemy of the Same

Following the car's debut in mid-January at the Detroit Auto Show, the first commercial for the 2014 Corvette Stingray has been released. The ad is all about moving forward. It's been 60 years since the original Corvette was launched, but the designers and engineers were definitely not melancholic about it.
What they created is a car challenges even what the fans expected from the car. For example, the taillights are no longer simple round shapes, and the body of the car has been designed to maximize visual impact and aerodynamics.

It's much the same story under the hood. The V8 engine isn't an old lump of iron. It's cast aluminum and engine management systems cut some of the cylinders' fuel if they aren't needed. Carbon fiber was used to reduce the weight of body panels, and aluminium is used throughout the chassis.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
