2014 Corvette Stingray Coming to China in 2014

According to Car News China, the C7 Corvette will fetch around CNY1.5 million, which means about $245,000 at current exchange rates. This will make it almost five times more expensive compared to the US market, which is not that shocking given that a BMW M3 costs at least $180,000, while more powerful sportscars break the $300,000 mark.

As a reminder, the 2014 Corvette Stingray starts at $51,995 in the US, while the convertible can be had for at least $56,995. The first C7 Corvettes are expected to arrive in North American dealerships next month.

GM’s brand new sportscar will return up to 29 miles per gallon on the highway, which represent an improvement of 11 percent over the sixth-generation model.
