Now that the BMW M6 Gran Coupe has joined the M6 Coupe and Cabriolet and the M5, this part of the M division’s range would only need one member to be complete: the M5 Touring.
BMW hasn’t announced anything about such a development, even though the company has offered us estate versions of the M5 in the past, albeit only for the E34 second-generation, E39 fourth-generation and for the E39 third-generation - this last one was built as a prototype that wasn’t shown to the public until 2009.
However, virtual tuning is always a good way to cater to such needs and this is exactly what the rendering above manages to do.
Created by Auto Projeções, this offers us a pretty good idea of what it would be like to see BMW release a competitor for the Audi RS6 Avant and the E63 AMG Wagon, as well as the CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake.
