Adventure-touring sometimes means having to spend well north of 10 hours a day riding your bike, and this WILL become a real pain in the you-know-what. Thankfully, the custom seats industry is not idling, so here's a nifty upgrade for the 2014 BMW F800GS Adventure, fresh from Corbin.
The new seat brings updates on both the aesthetics and the comfort "fronts", each adding to the riding experience customers expect from their beemers.
With the proven Fibertech basepans and Comfort Cell foam, the Corbin seats offer better weight distribution and support, fewer pressure hotpoints and a neutralized platform which counters the forward-sliding tendency.
The Comfort Cell slowly breaks in and follows the shape of the riders' bodies, enhancing the comfortable feel.
Optional seat heating is obviously available, as the 2014 BMW F800GS Adventure is indeed expected to reach less welcoming areas of the planet. Both rider and passenger can be heated, and hooking up the heating element to the bike's wiring harnesses is a breeze.
The seats come with genuine leather tops and strong vinyl for the side panels. Optional backrests are available, including the Glovebox which looks kind of silly on such a bike, truth be told.
