If you're a fan of the great outdoors and like off-road exploration, you need a toy to get you wherever you might want to go and beyond. And since large, heavy bikes don't seem to cut it enough, here's a nifty alternative in the shape of the 2013 Yamaha WR250F.
The frame of the 2013 WR250F is derived from the race-quality aluminium chassis of the YZ series, with cast, forged and extruded elements for increased rigidity and minimum weight. The bike is powered by a 4-stroke 250cc single-cylinder engine that's well used to the higher rev segment and which does a great team with the 5-speed close-ratio racing-oriented gearbox.

The 2013 Yamaha WR250F comes with fully-adjustable KYB suspension for both front and rear, and the 21”/ 18” wheels make sure you can venture against almost any obstacle. The instrument cluster offers two modes: the basic one with speedometer, clock, tripmeter, etc., and the race mode with timer, distance-compensating tripmeter, average speed, etc.

This ready-to-race bike is available since September 2012 in dealerships and retails for $6,990 (€5,434).
