Yamaha has made a lot of improvements to their 2013 FJR1300A, and has taken things even further in the realm of high-comfort supersport touring.
As the inventors of this motorcycle class, Yamaha can't afford any disappointments for the FJR1300A fans. The new bike is loaded with smart technology to make riding safer and more pleasant, no matter whether we're talking the open highway or twisting canyon roads.
The D-mode allows the rider to easily choose between a Touring and a Sport mapping for the 1289cc engine, and highlight the two main points where the FJR1300A shines: long-range touring comfort and its sporty, aggressive engine.
Unified braking with ABS and Traction Control are standard and offer both safer, shorter slowing and stopping, while at the same time limiting wheel slip and providing better grip. Adjustable windshield, handlebars and side panels, cruise control, and heated grips, they're all there to make you ride as pleasant as possible. You even get a nifty-looking sued dual seat and 12V socket in the glove compartment for phones, GPS and whatnot.
