British Superbike rider Chaz Davies has won both races at the MotorLand Aragon circuit in Spain, aboard the BMW Motorrad GoldBet SBK Team machine.
The factory team's new rider for this season, Chaz Davies managed to put a hefty gap between him and the current leader of the WSBK Championship, Sylvain Guintoli.
It looks like it's going to be a good season for BMW, especially as the other factory rider, Marco Melandri rode from 8th starting position to a third place on the podium in the first race and managed a 5th position, proving once more that the HP4 is a fierce racing machine.
The current WSBK rankings have Sylvain Guintoli as leader, with 85 points, followed by Chaz Davies with 63, Eugene Laverty with 45 and Marco Melandri very close with 43. Just one point down from Melandri we've got Michel Fabrizio with 42 point.
The next WSBK round will be hosted by the Netherlands and the TT Circuit in Assen, on April 28.
